Are Friends Electric? London, Espacio Gallery 2020
Taking place from Tuesday 17th until Sunday 22nd March 2020 at Espacio Gallery, London, Are Friends Electric? Studies in Neon is a group exhibition which brings together twelve emerging printmaking artists who find inspiration through the use of neon.
The exhibition aims to celebrate and explore the striking nature of neon colours in the context of screen printing. With the featured artists works varying in style and approach to the medium, Are Friends Electric? showcases influences from abstract to figurative art. Curated by Ricardo Côrte and Jonathan Lawes, the exhibition was planned after the duo decided to collaborate in order to bring together a group of artists who they admire and feel inspired by.
